Do I need to send my payments in advance?

No – you only need to pay for your rental at the start of the hire.

Will I get my deposit back?

Your deposit will only be authorised on your card it won’t leave your account. If any damage has occurred while the vehicle has been in your care, the cost of the repairs will be deducted from your deposit, and the remaining balance refunded to you. We do not charge the deposit to your card unless the vehicle is returned damaged.

What deposit do you require?

A deposit of £100 is required which is only authorised on a debit or credit card in the drivers name.

Can I drive a rental vehicle on a non-UK license?

All the rates quoted are for holders of a UK driving license. Foreign licence holders can be hired to, please contact us for a quote.

What driving license do I need?

You should have held a full drivers license for at least 2 years. We may not be able to hire a vehicle to you if your license carries certain endorsements or if you have had your licence suspended in the last 5 years– please feel free to contact us if you are in any doubt.

What are the age limits for drivers?

All the rates quoted are for drivers who are over 21 and under 75 years of age and over 25 for vehicles over 1600cc. Drivers under 21 or over 75 will require extra insurance please phone for a quote.

Can you deliver the car to me?

Yes – Newquay Airport is free delivery for any hire and collection is free anywhere in Cornwall on hires exceeding 2 days. The only costs that may be incurred would be parking charges at the point of delivery these will be at cost.

Do your prices include insurance?

Yes – our hire prices include full insurance – there are no hidden extras.
We do not charge extra CDW, the price you see is the price you pay!

How should I pay for my rental?

You may pay by cash, credit or debit card, by cheque supported by a current cheque guarantee card. There is no charge for deposits paid by Credit / Debit card as we only authorise it, but a small charge will be made for the actual hire if paid by Credit / Debit card. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Can I take the vehicle abroad?

Sorry No – our insurance does not cover travel outside the UK.

What happens if the vehicle breaks down?

If you have any problems you are covered by full AA breakdown insurance all the time you are in one of our vehicles.
